Podcast Episodes – Gone but not Forgotten
Hi everyone, as you will know by now, we lost a lot of data in Dec 2018. We’ve been ringing round everyone trying to get copies, but it looks like these episodes are gone for good.
There are currently 2 episodes lost to time:
RGR-POD-007: I:/ROM/PURGATORY – MIXED BY DOMINIK MORI
In this mix we today we’re celebrating some slightly harder beats, with only the finest Tech Trance, provided by Dominik Mori. He was on duty for us last monbth on March 9th, and took the roof off together with Senna.
RGR-POD-026: PROMO MIX 1 – MIXED BY MULE
Mule is one of the best new residents we’ve had this year [2006]. He excels at a super cool deep house sound, that’s guaranteed to warm up even the toughest crowd.
Hopefully this list will stay short, but check back more to see if there’s any more we have given up on. At the moment, we think we have the audio files for approximately 90% of the 74 shows that existed at the time we lost all the data.
Update: 2020-02-28. I think we now know the full extent of the lost mixes, and there’s 3 more to add:
RGR-POD-027: CRASH! MIXED BY ARO
In this mix ARO took on a mix of progressive trance that blends into electro house, but exactly how it sounded, we’ll never know.
RGR-POD-029: THE BAR (NOVEMBER 2007) – MIXED BY LUKE LAIN
Some fantastic deeper more minimal and techy beats from Luke Lain. Luke’s started out playing very progressive, but recently he’s been going even deeper and playing more percussive beats. this is a side that we haven’t showcased as much, so we’re really pleased have this in our arsenal, and we think you’ve going to love it.
RGR-POD-033: THE BAR (AUGUST 2008) – MIXED BY LUKE LAIN
Luke’s fantastic paired mixes of “The bar, The Club” showed his new deeper, more percussive housier and technoier sounds. unfortunately one of the set is gone for good, but luckily there’s still plenty more.
But – bonus good news. We’ve decided to replace these episodes with some other mixes we found down the back of the sofa. watch this space for more:
