Hi again, and welcome to episode 45 of the regenerate podcast. it’s a me, Phil wilshaw from Phoenix 6. Today we’ve got part 2 of my end of summer 2011 mix, recorded live at Gigalum on Sunday September 4th. This is a mix for the middle of the afternoon to enjoy in the sunshine with a pint, and it rolls through all sorts of electronic music in the usual eclectic regenerate style. The mix merges both blissed out and uplifting summer records, with some slightly deeper beats it also contains a few attempts at really deconstructing tracks to their bits, and gluing them back together in totally new ways. I was lucky enough to be able to experiment like this because no-one expects the DJ to fill the dancefloor at 4pm on a Sunday!
